The Drama League Marketing Associate creates and supervises the implementation of the Drama League’s brand identity and its applications in printed pieces, media, publications, internet content, and public events. Reporting to the Executive Director, responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
GRAPHIC DESIGN: Create, publish and execute design work for The Drama League’s various departments. This includes, but is not limited to, printed items and publications, direct mail, website design/updates, weekly e-blast communications, journals, auction materials, social media graphics, in-house playbills, advertising and special projects. Set and manage copy/draft/print deadlines, and meet turnaround times. Write copy when needed. Contract and communicate with printing vendors to ensure timely arrival of printed pieces.
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT: in consultation with staff, distribute information on The Drama League’s public programming daily to the organization’s social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. Respond to all web interactions.
OTHER: Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director. Occasional support staff at major events throughout the year.
-Bachelor’s degree. Arts Administration, Design, Production or Communications degrees preferred.
-Proficiency with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop required. Fluency in other Adobe software (Illustrator, Premiere, etc.) a plus.
-Fluency with social media, especially Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.
-Experience with theater and performing arts a plus.
